George Apergis is an established techno DJ, with a career of more than 20 years. He is also known as EMEX and he is the founder of Modular Expansion records & Modulation Εvents. Since 2013, he curates the “Modular Expansion Podcast” series that features a premier list of international artists and received widespread recognition.

His releases “Quelle”, “Ekhowax” and EMEX releases on Modular Expansion records, were highly successful and have been supported from worldwide artists like Juan Atkins, Laurent Garnier, Josh Wink, Marcel Dettmann, Nina Kraviz, Chris Liebing, Rødhåd, Drumcell, Bas Mooy, Ben Sims, The Advent and Tommy Four Seven to name but a few. His music has been remixed by international artists like Truncate, Zadig, Dave Tarrida, Johannes Volk, NX1, Lee Holman, to name but a few. He has also co-operated with Alex Retsis, and together they have released several tracks. George Apergis released tracks and remixes in labels such as Bellboy, LCR, Paranoid Dancer, Sabotage, Etichetta Nera, Elektrik Dreams and many others.
George Apergis is a DJ who plays only with vinyls and has performed in events alongside Adam Beyer, Terence Fixmer, Truncate, Ø [Phase], Drumcell, Shifted, Psyk, Answer Code Request, Rolando, dj Bone, Alan Oldham, Dj Pete, Alexander Kowalski, Carl Cox, Funk D Void and many others. He has performed in many clubs in Europe, such as the legendary Berghain, – Old & New – Tresor, Sisyphos, Suicide Circus, Pla kin Berlin, Scandale in Cottbus, Moog and Macarena in Barcelona, clubs in Rome, Warsaw, Moscow and the most prestigious clubs & festivals in Greece.
